Our Story
Hi, I'm Davia Butler — Founder & Executive Director of The Baby Haven LLC.
The Baby Haven was created from my own personal experience as a parent searching for infant care. Like many families, I experienced the stress of long waitlists, limited availability, and the constant worry of trying to find a place where I truly felt comfortable leaving my child each day. I wanted more than just a daycare — I wanted a place where children would feel safe, loved, nurtured, and genuinely cared for.
As I searched for care, I kept thinking there had to be a better option for families. Somewhere that felt warm and welcoming, but also professional, organized, and intentional. A place where parents could feel peace of mind and children could feel truly at home. That idea stayed with me and eventually became the vision behind The Baby Haven.

Although my professional background is in finance and operations, becoming a parent completely changed my perspective on childcare and what quality care should truly feel like. I understand how much trust parents place in the people caring for their children, and I don't take that responsibility lightly.

Ages 9 months – 18 months
Encouraging exploration and discovery in a safe, nurturing environment. We support each milestone with love, patience, and individualized care.
Ages 18 months – 24 months
Little movers on the go. We encourage independence through active play, music, sensory experiences, and early communication.
Ages 24 months – 30 months
Curious minds and busy bodies. We build confidence, motor skills, and language through purposeful play, routines, and hands-on learning experiences.
Ages 30 months – 3 years
Growing confidence and independence. We support early learning through play, social interaction, and hands-on activities.
Ages 3 years – 3 years 11 months
Building independence and social skills through creative play, problem-solving, and meaningful interactions. We prepare children for what's next.
